1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive the basic profile identifiers those providers share with us (email and a unique account identifier). We do not receive your password.
1.2 Profile Preferences
You provide the following preferences during onboarding:
- Preferred language (Turkish or English)
- Gender
- Age range
- Preferred interpretation style
These are used solely to personalize the AI interpretations you receive.
1.3 Dream Content
When you submit a dream, we store the dream text you enter (or its transcription if you record audio), the title and interpretation generated for that dream, and any image associated with it. Audio recordings are transcribed to text and the original audio is not retained on our servers.
1.4 Subscription Data
Subscription purchases are processed by the App Store and managed through a third-party subscription provider. We receive your subscription status, tier, renewal date, and an anonymized customer identifier. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
1.5 Usage Data
We track your monthly and lifetime interpretation/image counts to enforce quota limits associated with your subscription tier. We may collect diagnostic data such as crash logs through Apple's standard reporting tools if you have opted in to share with developers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account.

- To deliver the language and interpretation style you selected.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the content of your dreams for advertising or to train external models.
3. Service Providers
To deliver the Service we rely on a small number of third-party service providers. We share only the data necessary for each provider to perform its function, and each provider operates under its own privacy policy and contractual data-protection commitments. The categories of providers we use are:

Dream content sent to the interpretation provider is processed under that provider's enterprise/paid API terms and is not used to train its public models.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Your account data and dream history remain stored as long as your account is active. You can delete an individual dream from within the app at any time. To delete your entire account along with all associated data, contact us at the email address below and we will process your request within 30 days. Dreams may also be soft-deleted and removed from our backups within a reasonable period.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.

6. Children's Privacy
DreamLens is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, authentication tokens kept in the device's secure storage, and row-level security policies on our database so each user can only access their own records. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than the one where you reside, including the United States and the European Union, where our service providers operate their infrastructure. By using DreamLens, you consent to these transfers.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by email. Your continued use of DreamLens after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
