Privacy Policy — Cupcake Café

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Cupcake Café ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. The App is developed by Emre Acay. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Sign in with Apple, we receive a unique account identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address (which may be an Apple private relay address). We do not receive your Apple password.
• Gameplay data. We store your in-game progress, such as level completion, in-game coin balance, lives, owned cosmetic items, and power-ups, so your progress is saved across sessions and devices.
• Purchase data. When you buy in-app items, the transaction is processed by Apple. We and our payment processor (RevenueCat) receive a record of the purchase (product purchased, transaction identifier, status) to grant your in-game items. We never receive your full payment card details.
• Technical data. Basic technical information necessary to operate the service (such as app version and error/diagnostic information) may be processed to keep the App working reliably.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
• To save and synchronize your game progress.
• To process in-app purchases and credit the items you buy.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App.

3. Service Providers

We use trusted third parties to operate the App. These providers process data only on our behalf:

• Apple — Sign in with Apple and in-app purchase processing.
• Supabase — secure backend hosting of your account and gameplay data.
• RevenueCat — management and validation of in-app purchases.

4. Advertising & Tracking

The App does not currently display third-party advertisements and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes. If we introduce advertising in the future, we will update this policy and request your permission where required by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Contact" below), after which we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to restrict or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
